What is Jio Fiber IPTV advertising and how does it differ from CTV?

Jio Fiber IPTV advertising is addressable TV advertising delivered to Jio Fiber broadband subscribers' set-top boxes during linear TV channel viewing. Unlike OTT CTV (streaming apps like JioHotstar), IPTV delivers linear TV channels over Jio's managed broadband network — allowing Jio to insert household-targeted ads into linear TV ad breaks using Jio subscriber data. This is the closest India comes to addressable linear TV at scale.

Jio Ads targeting uses subscriber geography (pin code level), household income inference from Jio plan tier, and Jio network behaviour data. CPMs run Rs 200–450 depending on targeting depth. Buying route: direct deal through Jio Ads or a registered agency. Minimum spend Rs 5–10 lakh. The Jio Fiber STB also accesses JioHotstar and other streaming apps — advertising within JioHotstar on a Jio STB is JioHotstar inventory, bought separately through the same Jio Ads route.
