JioHotstar CTV advertising is bought through direct deal only -- there is no programmatic or self-serve access to JioHotstar inventory. You buy through Jio Ads (for JioCinema-origin inventory) or the Star/Disney ad sales team (for Hotstar-origin inventory), typically via a registered agency.
Standard pre-roll CPMs run Rs 150-350. IPL live pre-roll runs Rs 400-600+. Minimum spend for standard campaigns is Rs 5-10 lakh; IPL packages start at Rs 25 lakh. JioHotstar uses SSAI on all CTV inventory, which means third-party client-side tracking pixels (IAS, DoubleVerify) cannot fire -- impression and completion data comes from platform-reported server-side logs.
Creative requirements: MP4 or MOV, H.264 codec, 1920x1080, 15 or 30 seconds, -23 LUFS audio. Submit creative 5-7 business days before campaign go-live for platform review.
