Publisher reach numbers for India CTV — JioHotstar's "350 million MAU," SonyLIV's "100 million users," Zee5's "85 million MAU" — are aggregate figures across all devices and platforms. They are not CTV-specific numbers. The TV-screen audience is a small subset: JioHotstar's active monthly CTV viewers are estimated at 30–50 million; Zee5's at 8–12 million.

For campaign planning, the metric that matters is unique devices reached under your specific campaign, as reported by the publisher's ad server. This is a different number from the publisher's headline MAU, and it's the one that should anchor any reach claim in post-campaign reporting.
